NEW MEMBERS:

Click on this link to complete our New Members Form online or download the 2024/25 Membership Form. You will be able to complete it and e-mail it back (preferred method) or print it off and post back. Please ensure you fill out both sides and sign the form. After receipt of your completed New Members form, we will add you to the Harrier member database and you will then receive an invoice to pay online via the England Athletics email system. NOTE: By signing up and joining the Harriers you are deemed as accepting the UKA/England Athletics policies in operation at the current time; and to abide the Club's various policies and its Constitution.

Contact Membership Secretary Paul Chadwick for new membership enquiries, forms and payments.

Lapsed Member? If you were a member a few years back, but your membership has lapsed then contact Paul Chadwick for guidance - we may just need your full name and date of birth so that the England Athletics system can reinstate you, and you will then be sent an invoice to pay.

2nd Claim/Social members can join for the same amount as 1st Claim/Competitive members to benefit from our hired training facilities, coaching, etc.

EXISTING MEMBERS:

  • If you no longer require Harrier Membership then please let us know and we will remove you from the system - lapsed members will be removed from our database each year.

  • If you do not receive an online request in April then please let us know ASAP and we will investigate further - these are sent via the England Athletics email system.

  • Have you changed your e-mail address this past year? If so, then the online request will go to your old e-mail address unless you tell us! (Note: you can always change your contact details yourself by logging onto your myAtheltics Portal).

  • Please pay as soon as possible using the online system when you receive the request to maintain continuous membership.

COSTS

Harrier Membership fees:

Seniors £20pa*.

Juniors/unwaged £10pa*.

England Athletics (EA) Registration:

As a Club we have always encouraged our members to compete and to benefit from England Athletics Registration when doing so. More information about the benefits of England Athletics registration can be found here.

*For those that compete, you will need to add on England Athletics registration - this is £19 valid from April 1st 2024 through to March 31st 2025 (for all aged 11 upwards).  We want to encourage all of our active junior members age 11 and upwards to sign up for EA at the same time as Club Membership - this will then cover you with various benefits and a discount at competitive fixtures across the year. Most UK Athletics licenced races will offer you a race discount with this membership.

If seniors definitely don't want England Athletics registration as you are purely a social runner/supporter then please advise us and just join Harrier Club members.

Membership fees to be paid online.

New members please complete a form and send in so that you can be added to the system and invoiced to pay online.

VOLUNTEERING SOME TIME

We expect all Harrier members, or parents of juniors, to contribute time to the Club. This might be by helping out at training (e,g, holding a stop-watch; raking the long-jump pit), acting as a team manager; becoming a trained coach or official; writing a report for the website, taking a photo or two for the website, or helping to marshal at either the Street 5k Series or the Wells Fun Run.

You can also help by joining the committee to plan Club activities and oversee the development of the Club. We will allocate you to a task during the year, or you can volunteer for a specific role if you contact us in advance (e.g. marshalling at one or more of the Street 5k races Oct-March).
