Wells City Harriers have a long tradition of organising various races and events across the area and we have helped various other community groups to ensure that their events are organised to a good standard. The only races that the Harrier committee directly organise are the Street Series of races (October-March). Read on for details. For other local races please contact the community organisers direct.

Many folk use the Street 5k road race as a monthly time trial to see if they can get fitter and quicker! In the past two seasons we have incentivised people to get quicker by awarding a bottle of Bullbeggar Cider or Lamyatt Apple Juice if they improve on their 5k time from month to month.

The Series is known as the Clive & Angela Thomas Series as they were the initiators of the Series back in 1989 as a monthly time trial to encourage local runners of all abilities to get fitter and quicker!
